Joanna Goddard is born in 1979 with her twin sister in Paris. She Grew up mostly in suburbs of Michigan apart from France & England. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2001, she moved to New York City. Here she started her career at cosmopolitan with editorial responsibilities. After working for three years, she moved to Bene as the editor-in-chief. After a successful journey at Bene, She left it for magazines, which includes Glamour and New York. During this time she launched and managed the relationship blog at Glamour.com for two years, and also blogged for Conde Nast Traveler and Martha Stewart Living.

Middle of all this success and with the rich experience in content and blogging, She motivated to start “A Cup Of Jo” as a weekend hobby. Because of very engaging content, her blog starts earning followers very fast and it becomes very popular as a daily lifestyle blog for women. Within a few years her blog “A Cup Of Jo” grow so big, it becomes a full-time job for her. Now She has a team of writers and is known for the deeply engaged relationship with their readers. Their followers are enthusiastic, style-conscious women who love shopping online and discovering new things. 

The content is comprised of style, food, design, travel, relationships and mom stuff, but it’s that last category that Cup of Jo seems to command like no one else. She led the motherhood charge, blogging about everything from breastfeeding to her experience with postpartum depression. She’s since expanded the content to include Q&A interviews with experts, personal as-told-to stories and features that shine the spotlight on parenting around the world.
